Compress Image to 100KB
The tool searches for the highest quality it can keep while aiming for 100 KB.
Keep working with the image.
Private, browser-first processing.
ImageShaper processes selected files directly in the browser. Your source image is not uploaded to a conversion server by the tool.
For very large images, browser memory limits vary by phone or computer. Keep the tab open until processing finishes.
Built for ordinary web images.
- Inputs are capped at 40 MB.
- Very large megapixel counts can use substantial browser memory.
- Quality controls apply to JPEG and WebP outputs.
- Keep the page open until the output is ready.
Before you process.
Will the result always be under 100KB?
The tool searches aggressively for an output under 100,000 bytes. Extremely complex images can reach browser-safe minimum dimensions before the target.
Why does the image get smaller in dimensions?
When quality reduction alone is not enough, the tool gradually reduces pixel dimensions to reach the file-size target.
What format is best for 100KB?
WebP is the default because it usually reaches small targets with better visual quality than JPEG at the same byte size.
