Compress Image to 200KB
The tool searches for the highest quality it can keep while aiming for 200KB.
Keep working with the image.
Private, browser-first processing.
ImageShaper reads and processes selected files directly in your browser. The source image is not uploaded to a conversion server by the tool.
For very large images, browser memory limits vary by phone or computer. Keep the tab open until processing finishes.
Built for ordinary web images.
- Single-file inputs are capped at 40 MB.
- Very large megapixel counts can use substantial browser memory.
- JPEG and WebP quality controls are lossy.
- Keep the page open until the output is ready.
About the 200KB target.
Will the result always be under 200KB?
The tool searches aggressively for an output under 200,000 bytes. Extremely complex images can reach minimum browser-safe dimensions before the target.
Why can dimensions change?
When quality reduction alone is not enough, the tool gradually reduces pixel dimensions to reach the requested byte limit.
Which format should I use?
WebP is the default because it often keeps better visual quality at small file sizes. JPEG is also available for broader compatibility.
